INGREDIENTS:
- 4 large eggs
- 2/3 cups sugar
- 1 tbsp flour
- 3 Tbs. melted butter
- 3/4 cup white Karo Syrup
- 1 tsp Rustlin' Rob's Mexican Vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup Whole pecans for garnish, optional
- 1 cup chopped pecans
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Combine the eggs and syrup. Make sure they’re well blended before adding the next ingredient.
- Whisk in the sugar an flour, followed by the salt and vanilla
- Let the mixture stand for about 5 minutes. It needs just a little bit of a rest after that workout you just gave it.
- Add the pecans and butter until everything is incorporated.
- Pour into prepared crust.
- Bake until firm, about 40 minutes.
NOTE: Our favorite brand of pie crust is Pillsbury.
