INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1/4 cup Jalapeno Hatch Chile Jam
  • 1/2 lemon
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS:
  1. Blister the green beans: Heat the oil in a large pan over high heat. When the oil begins to swirl, add the green beans. Allow to blister and sear on one side, 2 to 3 minutes, then toss to blister some more. Add a pinch of salt and a grind or 2 of pepper.
  2. Finish: Add the Jalapeno Hatch Chile Jam and let it melt into the pan. Add a spritz of lemon. Toss and serve.
